Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made from Wendelbo by Trit Pty Ltd (“Wendelbo by Trit”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Australian Consumer Law
All purchases are subject to the Australian Consumer Law. Your rights to a repair, replacement, or refund under the ACL apply in addition to any warranty provided by Wendelbo by Trit.
2. Pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Wendelbo by Trit reserves the right to correct any errors in product pricing or description prior to acceptance of an order.
3. Refunds & Returns
Change of Mind
Wendelbo by Trit offers a 7-day change-of-mind guarantee on furniture only. Exclusions apply to lighting, rugs, homewares, accessories, and prints. Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and not assembled or part-assembled. All return costs are at the buyer’s expense. Refunds are issued minus delivery/collection costs. A 20% restocking fee applies where goods are not returned in original condition. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after inspection of the returned goods.
Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Custom and made-to-order furniture cannot be refunded due to change of mind.
Commercial & Trade Orders
Cancellations of confirmed commercial or trade orders incur a 30% cancellation fee.
Floor Stock, Ex-Display & Clearance Items
All floor-stock, ex-display, and clearance pieces (including end-of-line items) are sold in “as is” condition and are non-exchangeable, non-returnable, and non-refundable for change of mind.
Damaged Goods
Goods must be inspected upon delivery. Any transit damage or obvious defects must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Fragile items (homewares, accessories, prints, glass-top furniture) must be reported within 24 hours. Claims must include proof of damage and arrangements for inspection or return. Claims after these timeframes will be treated as warranty claims. Buyers are responsible for delivery costs incurred in the claims process, unless otherwise required under the ACL.
4. Delivery & Collection
Delivery is provided by external freight carriers engaged by Wendelbo by Trit. Delivery dates/times cannot be guaranteed. Customers are responsible for tracking deliveries with the courier once goods are dispatched.
Delivery costs are based on ground floor/front door access. Additional charges apply for restricted access, stair deliveries, or failed attempts. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure accurate delivery details. Re-delivery or redirection fees may apply.
Unless otherwise stated, goods are delivered boxed/flat-packed. Assembly and packaging disposal are the buyer’s responsibility. Customers may choose VIP Delivery, which includes placement of goods, assembly, and removal of all packaging. VIP Delivery must be arranged and quoted prior to dispatch.
Collection from our warehouse is by appointment only, with 48 hours’ notice required. Valid government-issued ID matching the invoice must be presented at collection. If using a third party or courier, prior written authorisation and ID verification are required.
5. Storage
Complimentary storage is available for fully paid orders for up to 3 months. After this period, a 5% storage fee (based on order total) applies per month, for a further 3 months. Goods must be collected within 6 months of purchase.
Orders held in storage for 3 months or longer cannot be cancelled. Storage fees are non-refundable.
6. Gift Vouchers
Wendelbo by Trit gift vouchers are redeemable for merchandise only and may be used in store, over the phone or via email. Vouchers are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Warranty Terms & Conditions
Wendelbo by Trit warrants all Wendelbo furniture (excluding items such as homewares, accessories, and prints) against manufacturing defects as follows:
5-year structural warranty: Covers defects in frames, bases, and internal components.
5-year upholstery warranty: Covers stitching and workmanship issues under normal domestic use.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:- Normal wear and tear, including pilling or compression of foams/fillings.
- Damage from abnormal use, misuse, or insufficient maintenance.
- Colour fading or deterioration from sunlight, humidity, or water exposure.
- Alterations, modifications, or unauthorised repairs.
- Variations in natural materials (e.g. solid timber movement or hairline cracks, which are considered normal and not structural faults).
- Commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Freight, labour, or service costs associated with warranty claims (unless required by the ACL).
Conditions
Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Subsequent purchasers acquire goods “as is.”
Any repair or replacement is limited to the defective component only. Wendelbo by Trit reserves the right to determine whether an issue is a defect or wear and tear.
8. Pre-Orders
Delivery dates for pre-order items are estimates only and subject to supplier lead times, shipping schedules, and customs clearance. Wendelbo by Trit endeavours to provide accurate updates but cannot guarantee delivery dates.

All purchases from Wendelbo by Trit are made in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, which provides you with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
