Refund policy
7-Day Change of Mind Guarantee
If you are unhappy with your furniture purchase, you may request a refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery. Exclusions apply to lighting, rugs, homewares, accessories, and prints. Goods must be returned or collected within 5 business days of your request. All return costs are at the buyer’s expense. Refunds will be issued minus the delivery and collection costs. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and not assembled or part-assembled. A 20% restocking fee applies if goods are not returned in original condition. This fee also applies to any assembly or rubbish removal services provided by Wendelbo by Trit or its contractors. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after inspection of the returned goods.
Custom Made & Made-to-Order Items
Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds for change of mind on custom or made-to-order items.
Commercial & Trade Orders
Cancellation of commercial or trade orders will incur a 30% cancellation fee once the order has been confirmed.
Floor Stock, Ex-Display & Clearance Items
All floor-stock, ex-display, and clearance pieces (including items marked as EOL – end of line) are sold in “as is” condition and are non-exchangeable, non-returnable, and non-refundable for change of mind.
Damaged Goods
Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and report any damage within 48 hours (24 hours for fragile items). Claims must include proof of damage and arrangements for inspection or return. Claims submitted after this period will be treated as warranty claims. Delivery costs for the claims process are the buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise required by the ACL.
Fragile Items
Fragile items (including homewares, accessories, glass-top furniture, and artwork) must be inspected immediately and any damage reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please contact our showroom staff for clarification on which products fall into this category.
Storage
We offer complimentary storage for fully paid orders for up to 3 months. After this period, a storage fee of 5% of the order total per month applies, up to an additional 3 months. Storage fees are non-refundable. Orders must be collected within 6 months of purchase. Orders held in storage for 3 months or longer cannot be cancelled.
Gift Vouchers
Wendelbo by Trit gift vouchers are redeemable for merchandise only and may be used in store, over the phone or via email. Vouchers are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Artwork
Artist prints are custom ordered. Once confirmed, they are non-refundable due to change of mind.
Promotional Offers
Wendelbo by Trit reserves the right to rescind, cancel, amend, extend, or end any promotional offer before its conclusion. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
